About Me
Hi, I'm Buddy Estrada, the founder of Guap Made, a Portland and Seattle-based apparel brand I launched in 2021. With over six years of graphic design, global sourcing, and sewing expertise, I create unique, one-of-a-kind garments, from tech packs to final production. I handle everything when it comes to designing, photographing 14 distinct looks, managing/negotiating with vendors, and fulfilling orders with top of the line customer service. My skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, combined with my creativity and social media marketing, drive Guap Made’s bold/unique vision. As a junior at Seattle Pacific University, studying Apparel Design, I’m passionate about pushing fashion forward and spreading my life through garments in a efficient manner. Let’s connect to bring innovative apparel ideas to life!

Turning Garments into Canvases
Expertise & Offerings
As a creative driven by the fusion of art and fashion, I transform garments into wearable canvases that embody personal expression and technical precision. My process begins with sketching bold, narrative-driven designs inspired by my passions, whether it’s the energy of urban life or the serenity of nature using tools like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to craft precise, scalable artwork. I experiment with techniques like hand-painting, screen printing, and embroidery, carefully selecting fabrics like cotton or denim to ensure my creations are both vibrant and durable. By upcycling thrifted pieces or designing from scratch, I blend sustainability with innovation, turning each garment into a unique story. My work reflects a commitment to merging creativity with technical skill, inviting others to wear art that resonates.
